How the garden photo redesign works
What it changes and what it keeps
In Restyle mode the AI works on your own photo. It keeps the frame of the picture where it is: the house, the fence line, the paving you already have and the camera angle. What it changes is everything that sits on top of that: planting, lawn, borders, furniture, lighting, materials and the extras you ask for. The result is your yard, redesigned, not a stock garden that happens to share a color scheme with it.
Generate mode skips the photo and designs a garden from scratch. Use it when you are still deciding what you want, or when the space is not built yet.
What photo to upload
A phone photo is enough. Take it in daylight, from the spot where you would normally stand to look at the garden, and get the whole area you want redesigned in the frame. Landscape orientation usually works better than portrait for backyards. Avoid heavy shadows, night shots and close-ups of a single bed: the AI can only redesign what it can see.
Front yards, backyards, patios, decks, balconies, courtyards and side yards all work. Pick the space type in the form so the AI knows what it is looking at.
Styles and options
There are 18 preset styles: Luxury, Modern, Contemporary, Minimalist, Cozy, Cottage, Farmhouse, Mediterranean, Japanese, Zen, Tropical, Bohemian, Rustic, Desert, Coastal, English, Scandinavian and Traditional. If none fits, type your own, for example "drought-tolerant with gravel and grasses". Every preset has a page of real examples under garden styles.
On top of the style you can add features (pool, hot tub, firepit, pergola, fountain, vegetable beds, lighting and more), choose a season and time of day, say what the space is for, and list anything the AI should leave out. Writing a plain sentence in the description box is enough on its own to generate.

You can set everything up without an account. To generate, you sign in, and every account gets 3 free designs. Free designs carry a watermark. A redesign takes about two minutes. If the first result is close but not right, change one thing (the style, a feature, a line in the description) and run it again rather than starting over. To change one object instead of the whole garden, use replace or remove.
