Photo in, landscape out: what is kept and what changes

Kept: the house, fence, walls, steps, large trees, the camera angle and the direction of the light. The result has to line up with your photo, so the structure stays.

Changed: lawn, beds, plant choice, paving materials, furniture, and any feature you ask for (pergola, fire pit, pool, lighting). To change one element and keep everything else, use Replace or Remove instead of a full redesign.

Photos that work, and photos that do not

Daylight

wide framing. Stand at the back door or the end of the driveway and get the whole area in one shot, with part of the house or fence in it.

No tight close-ups

A photo of only grass gives the generator nothing to anchor the design to.

Mess is fine

Toys, dead lawn, bare dirt and building debris do not need to be cleared first.

A phone camera is enough

JPEG or PNG up to 12 MB. Very dark or blown-out photos give weaker results.

Steering the generator

Pick one of the 15+ preset styles or type what you want: less lawn, a gravel path to the shed, privacy along the left fence, warm lighting. Add features from the list or by name. Generate, look, change one thing, generate again. Three or four versions of the same photo side by side show you what you want faster than one long prompt.
